Despite some obvious rust, he had an immediate impact, and given he played 37 minutes there is very little concern moving forward. Clearly, Harris is rostered in every league and so there is very little to see here in terms of fantasy news, other than the fact he will impact the value of players like Furkan Korkmaz, Georges Niang and Shake Milton.
Henry is set to make his G League debut during Friday's game. He'll likely continue bouncing back and forth between the G League and the NBA, but don't expect him to do much with the Sixers. The 76ers are much healthier, so Reed will resume his usual bench role. As a reserve, he's averaging 1. As a reserve, he's averaging With Seth Curry foot returning to the starting five, Milton will come off the bench. After a one-game absence due to a bruised foot, Curry will return to the lineup.
He's scored in double-digits in seven straight games and is averaging Harris will go through pregame warmups with the intent of returning for Thursday's game against Toronto, Derek Bodner of The Athletic reports. Harris has officially cleared the league's health and safety protocols, but coach Doc Rivers said he'll have to go through his usual pregame routine before officially getting the green light to play.
All indications are that Harris will be back in the lineup, with final confirmation likely to come soon. After missing Tuesday's game versus Milwaukee, Curry will go through pregame warmups before a final call is made on his status. Over his last five appearances, Curry averaged Harris missed the previous six games due to the league's health and safety protocols, but he's set to make his return to action Thursday as Philly finishes out a three-game home stand.
Given that he hasn't played in a week-and-a-half, Harris could have some rust to shake off, but the shorthanded Sixers -- who will still be without Joel Embiid COVID protocols -- will certainly welcome him back. Simmons has yet to suit up for the Sixers this season and was even kicked out of practice by coach Doc Rivers last week. Rivers has routinely said Simmons will be welcomed back, but even if that's true, it remains to be seen just if or when Simmons' next game of basketball is for the Sixers or another team come December.

How long is Klay Thompson out? Because if you're on a winning team, you're always going to have a spot in the league, just because you're on a winning team and you contributed. On Friday, Oct. The team set up an escrow account with the withheld cash, and fines he accrued moving forward were to be deducted from that account, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.
The Sixers opened up preseason play with games against the Toronto Raptors on Oct. Perhaps the fines started to get to him, because Simmons returned to Philadelphia -- unbeknownst to the team at the time -- on Oct. The Sixers had a preseason game against the Brooklyn Nets on that night, so Simmons missed that game, as well as the team's final preseason game in Detroit. Since his return, Simmons has passed all necessary tests and physicals, and the Sixers hope to get him out on the floor and move forward.
Simmons being back in Philadelphia certainly doesn't mean that the situation is resolved. His return was obviously motivated by money, as the team was withholding his pay, and it doesn't change the fact that he wants to be traded. The Sixers, though, are only interested in trading Simmons if such a move will benefit the team in the present. Perhaps such an opportunity will materialize once the season starts. In the meantime, the Sixers' hope is that Simmons will be professional and play to his full ability given that he has four years remaining on his current contract.
Simmons apparently did not intend to play nicely with his teammates upon his return to the team. The talented and unhappy All-Star was booted from practice Tuesday for not being engaged, according to head coach Doc Rivers. As a result, the team suspended Simmons for one game. Simmons was suspended for this game, but the Sixers still pulled out a victory.
Simmons met with the Sixers and informed the team that he wasn't mentally ready to play up to his expectations and in turn needed time to step away. The Sixers had been consistently fining Simmons for missing games, practices and meetings, but they stopped doing so at this point.
There's a clause in the league's collective bargaining agreement that protects players' salary for failing to render services "if such failure has been caused by the player's mental disability. The organization resumed fining Simmons , as the three-time All-Star reportedly denied the mental health resources that the team offered, choosing instead to work with the NBPA.
Simmons reportedly refused to share basic details of treatment that he was receiving with the team, which he is expected to do per the league's CBA. In addition to games, the Sixers also started fining Simmons again for failing to participate in any required activities, including strength training, film sessions and team practices. Simmons' agent Rich Paul publicly criticized the Sixers' handling of Simmons, via Shams Charania of The Athletic, saying that the fines from the organization -- and resulting negative attention -- weren't helping Simmons' mental state.
