I would have thought they would say Australian, American, Scottish or Welsh. They got my dialect spot on at number one. I do think I spotted the question which was the decider though, and it's one I could have went either way on with the answer, since the phrase they used is one that occurs all the time in Scotland, but it's one I have as a pet peeve and wouldn't use myself.

There were quite a few sentences that, while I ticked as correct, I wouldn't personally use. There's a bit of wiggle room there. Because I live near the border, and have been told I have a northern accent at times. I guess that's where Scotland comes from too! No idea about Australian though. They got Scottish spot on for me, but I've also lived a fair bit of my life in Donegal, and it's the only other notable component of my dialect - they didn't get that part though, I got Australian as a runner-up as well!

I have no idea where they get Australian from. Are you in an area with Ulster Scots influences? I could imagine that encouraging Scottish as a result.
