The difference between "K" Sandy and locked Sandy wouldn't matter. There's a whole spectrum of Z68 boards on the price axis. What else is new? I've been so immersed in this new system I haven't kept up for a couple months. I'd think that for any manufacturer, taking a gander at any mid-range board in their offering should help you make choices of personal preference.
There WAS a Gigabyte Z68 for which I heard less than stellar comment, but one bad board in a model line doth not the menu make. Last edited: Aug 31, Mrsash Junior Member.

X67 isn't out yet but I think it was supposed to be a combination of H67 and P67 features. From the review posted a few days ago. So If I read that right you can't overclock the H67? Even if you disable the on-board graphics in the bios? Depending on the board you might be able to raise the base clock, but with Sandybridge you're going to max out at just a few mhz there since mission-critical stuff like SATA is routed through the CPU.
So, in short, nope. I had heard that with H67 you couldn't raise the multiplier, but I probably misread that. Could I turn off it's integrated support for SandyBridge graphic and use my Radeon on H67 instead of Sandy-graphic? I have no intention of overclocking either processor Thank you! Quick links. H67 vs P67 chipset All about them. H67 vs P67 chipset Post by Pondlife » Thu Feb 17, pm I'm planning to build a new PC using sandy bridge when the motherboards start shipping again. I won't be overclocking it, and am not a big gamer, so I'm thinking to go for the H67 chipset and use the integrated video, and maybe add a video card in a few years as a mid-life update I tend to upgrade RAM, hard disk and video card after two to three years.
The question is: if I add a graphics card to a H67 motherboard, would the GPU on the CPU still be active and end up using more power than the same setup with a P67 mobo? I'll probably use an Asus motherboard if that makes any difference. As the othe guys said H67 seems to draw slightly less power than P
